Dahlia, 10 years old, of South Berwick Maine was nominated for her empathy of others and desire to help her community. Dahlia goes out of her way to find friendship with her peers in need, takes the time to put herself in the shoes of those who are struggling, and most importantly, dedicates her time to further the equality of all people.

She spends her free time contributing to her schools Civil Rights Group, attending protests in her community, and donating half her allowance to Black Lives Matter causes. We have selected Dahlia today, because her kindness goes beyond her community, in helping to make the world a better place for all.
