10-year-old Ella Madden of Biddeford, Maine, was nominated for her compassion and selflessness. She volunteers regularly in both her community and at school, and recently ran a donation drive to provide winter jackets, gloves, and hats to those in need.

For her 10th Birthday, Ella donated the money she received as gifts to the Barbara Bush Children’s hospital to help children who were less fortunate than herself. Most recently, Ella donated another $100 of her own money to help kids who have been impacted by COVID or other illnesses.

Ella’s selfless actions are a testament to her character and compassion and demonstrate her commitment to making the world a better place.
