Jennifer Makes Sure Every Student Is Successful in School

For teachers like Jennifer Readel, work does not simply end when the dismissal bell rings. Jennifer is a Special Education teacher at Rochester Middle School in Rochester, NH where she teaches students with various learning and behavioral disabilities. She carefully constructs individual lesson plans for each student to align with their needs while still challenging them. Her students’ needs are ever-changing, requiring her to update her plans often. To do so, Jennifer maintains regular communication with each student’s parents and guardians to ensure that she fully understands what each student needs to make school enjoyable and help them succeed in her classroom. She never hesitates to contribute her own resources to make sure that her classroom remains a safe, healthy, and welcoming environment for her students. Her fellow educators have noticed her dedication and have even challenged themselves to follow in her footsteps.

Because of her devotion to her students, Jennifer was chosen as a winner of Northeast Credit Union’s Teachers That Wow contest. We appreciate her kindness and compassion for her students!
